  26.     The PROCOMM PLUS section of this BBS has been added to accomodate the
  27. mass of inquiries concerning our new product.  Please use this section
  28. when referencing PROCOMM PLUS and use the other boards as described in the
  29. <M>essages bulletin.

  31.     PROCOMM PLUS will begin shipping on Friday, February 5, 1988.  We have
  32. several thousand back orders which we will ship immediately (in the order
  33. that we recieved them,) but it will still take a few days to get them out
  34. of the door.  We will make the PROCOMM PLUS test-drive version available
  35. for downloading on Friday, February 12.  The test-drive version is the FULL
  36. working executable file - not a 'crippled' version as many rumors assert.
  37. This test drive version will be contained in a single archive which MUST
  38. NOT be modified in any way.

  41. yet.  We know this has caused some problems and we apologize - the checks

  355. What's our position on PROCOMM PLUS?  Is it shareware... or is it commercial?
  356.  
  357. PROCOMM PLUS Version 1.0 will be available on February 1, 1988 for $75.  It is
  358. a NEW PRODUCT, and not an enhanced version of ProComm 2.4.2.
  359.  
  360. There will be a "try before you buy" version of PROCOMM PLUS (that will also be
  361. available in February) for people to "test drive" and evaluate.  The "try
  362. before you buy" version will be distributed on BBS's and through Computer User
  363. Groups.  This "try before you buy" version  of PROCOMM PLUS will be the FULL
  364. WORKING executable file.  Distribution of this "try before you buy" version of
  365. PROCOMM PLUS will be restricted to North America only.

  367. There will be no "registrations" offered for PROCOMM PLUS, and the price is
  368. $75.  The version of PROCOMM PLUS that comes with the complete package may not
